ORIGINAL WORKSHOP FORMAT -  INFORMATION

Here's what this class is all about. . .

Our ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop meets only one or two days a week - usually only on Saturday's.  However, depending on the difficultly of the show we may add another day of the week to the workshop rehearsal schedule.  The duration of the ORIGINAL FORMAT class is ALWAYS the same:  Six weeks.  If the ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop performs more than once there are usually 2 or 3 dress rehearsals during the final week - usually Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m.  It is during these rehearsals the kids have costume fittings, rehearse on the set, we set the lights, they work with props - it's a very busy three days.  If the ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop only performs once or twice the final rehearsal is usually 4 hours long and we do EVERYTHING in that time frame. 

The ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop class times are usually 3 hours per rehearsal day.   What makes the ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop different from the others we offer?   The rehearsals.  We only rehearse 1 or two days a week - mostly weekends.  Most families find this schedule MUCH MORE appealing than driving their child to a rehearsal every night after school.  The ORIGINAL FORMAT kids still get the same 'real show' feeling without the HUGE commitment of 20 to 30 rehearsals.

The  ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop format productions ALWAYS perform on either the AVO PLAYHOUSE STAGE in Vista or THE HEARTH THEATER STAGE in San Marcos.

DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS WORKSHOP if you are going to miss EITHER of the final two, (2) rehearsals of ANY ORIGINAL FORMAT workshop.  These rehearsals are MANDATORY.  And it goes without saying the NO CHILD is allowed to miss ANY performance.  The cast is counting on everyone to be there in order to guarantee a great show.

OTHER INFORMATION

*  We provide ALL the costumes your child will use with the exception of shoes, socks, tights and undergarments.

*Every child is required to sell 10 tickets to the show.

$10.00 for adults / $8 for seniors, students and military and $5.00 for children under 12. You may sell as many as you want, but everyone is required to sell 10.
